Cortese has added a third object to the portfolio of the Cortese Care Homes Fund I CV. This new fund from Cortese invests in four residential care complexes in South Limburg. These are objects that are rented for 20 years to an organization that offers small-scale housing to people with dementia.
Monastery Opveld | Maastricht
The purchased object concerns the Opveld monastery in Maastricht. The national monument with spacious garden will be completely renovated and transformed into a high-quality residential care complex (Résidence Op 't Veld) in the coming year. After renovation, the property has a total of 17 care studios/apartments, ranging from 26,5 m² to 51,5 m².
Tenant and care provider
The residential care complexes are fully and long-term leased to GEN Residenties on the basis of triple net rental agreements. GEN Residenties rents the apartments to individual residents. The residents are people with dementia who can no longer live independently. Due to a greater need for care, they are dependent on 24-hour care.
Healthcare organization Nobama Care provides 24-hour care to residents in accordance with the Long-term Care Act (Wlz). Nobama Care is a recognized care provider and specializes in providing intensive care to people with dementia.
The entire purchase and sale process is supervised by ABC Capital together with UNO vgm.
